Job Description

We operate a poultry processing facility and are looking for qualified part-time (2 days per week) team members

A patient, dependable candidate would be a great fit to work alongside adults with special needs.
Cleanliness and a positive demeanor are a must in this fast pace work environment.
Specific on-job training provided, no previous experience required.

Position Description

In this new, well lit, especially clean facility, live poultry is processed all the way through to packaging for resale in one day.
Positions are available in all areas of processing and may include, depending on position:
- live bird handling, eviscerating, inspecting and rinsing carcasses, packaging, cleaning the facility, and cutting up whole chickens into parts.

What you bring to the team:

A great work ethic and attitude
Exceptional attention to detail
Team members must be 18 or older (it is the law).
Ability to stand or walk for long periods on cement.
Safely handle and use knives and moving equipment.
Dress in suitable clothing and rubber boots in this wet environment
Practice patience and care while interacting with fellow teammates
Eagerness to learn and practice safe food handling and animal welfare.
